This theoretical module provides far more than just the basics of vehicle use within the security sector. Covering topics such as vehicle mechanics, convoy driving, and staggered driving techniques on single- and multi-lane roads, we explore driving from the perspective of a close protection operative – as an integral component of professional protective measures.
Participants will learn, in just under four hours, first-hand how crucial in-depth knowledge of “driving” is in the daily operations of the security industry. Misunderstandings or knowledge gaps often lead to critical situations where, in an emergency, it is too late to react effectively.
The course focuses on proper communication, coordination, and hazard prevention on the road, as well as the safe handling of cover vehicles. Theoretical exercises complement the training, preparing participants for realistic operational scenarios.
