Tactical Emergency Medicine in the Security Sector: Module I THEORY PRO

Are you ready for your mission?

Our course is based on the principles of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) – a medical concept specifically designed for police and security personnel. It focuses on the swift and effective treatment of casualties in dangerous situations, while always considering tactical conditions and potential threats.

With increasing security risks, having a structured approach in such scenarios is more important than ever. This is where our two-part workshop comes into play: Module I: THEORY PRO provides essential theoretical knowledge, while Module II: PRACTICE PRO focuses on hands-on application.

The course is aimed at security professionals, as well as members of the police, fire services, and emergency medical services, who wish to enhance their skills to manage such challenges effectively. However, individuals with an interest in acquiring basic knowledge of tactical emergency medicine are also welcome. This course offers a valuable opportunity for anyone looking to learn how to act safely and effectively in critical situations, whether in a professional or personal context.

Whether you already have experience in the security or emergency services sector, or simply have a strong interest in responding correctly during emergencies – this course equips you with the knowledge and practical skills needed to be prepared for any situation.

Why Choose MOORE PROTECTION?

Our experienced instructors bring valuable international expertise as tactical medics, offering more than just surface-level knowledge. They will teach you how to identify even the smallest details and respond correctly.

Course Content for Module I: THEORY PRO

In the theoretical section, supported by a PowerPoint presentation, we comprehensively explain the fundamentals of tactical emergency medicine. Particular emphasis is placed on aligning our strategic priorities effectively, from mission planning to implementation.

Our goal is to prepare participants thoroughly for real-world operations, ensuring mission success to the highest degree. The focus is on safely evacuating casualties from danger zones, including the planning and execution of evacuation measures, as well as efficient transportation of the injured.

By targeting these specific objectives, we ensure participants can recognise and apply the critical elements required for successful execution in emergencies.

Course Content for Module II: PRACTICE PRO

In the practical section, we guide you step by step through the application of essential tactical medical products. This includes the use of a tourniquet, applying a chest seal, fitting a cervical collar (HWS-Schiene), performing wound packing, and using a nasopharyngeal airway tube (NPA).

We place great emphasis on delivering practical, hands-on training while simultaneously highlighting the strategic priorities of emergency medicine. In small groups, you’ll have the opportunity to test all available tactical equipment yourself, always under the guidance and support of our experienced instructors.

This approach ensures you learn how to use the equipment safely and effectively, preparing you for critical situations.

Our goal is to maximise mission success by focusing on recognising and addressing the essential aspects required for effective execution of the taught methods. Central to this is the safe rescue of casualties from danger zones, including planning and executing evacuation measures and ensuring efficient transport.

Workshop Content

During the practical section, the following key topics are covered:

  • Effective bleeding control using tourniquets and Easy Bandages
  • Proper airway management with a nasopharyngeal tube
  • Treatment of thoracic injuries (chest seals)
  • Use of haemostatic agents and wound packing for precise bleeding control
  • Application of a cervical collar (HWS-Schiene)
  • Techniques for evacuating casualties in hot zones

This targeted approach ensures that participants understand and apply the key elements necessary for success in emergencies.
